He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann Honaker Gilbert and Roy Dallas Gilbert; and his sister Lucy Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Brian Gilbert, Shyann Gilbert and Sierra Gilbert; his brothers, Dennis Gilbert, Larry Gilbert, Jamie Gilbert and Charlie Gilbert; his close friend Diane Artrip; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
