It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly Kay Dobies of Leesburg, Virginia, who passed away on November 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Nelson and Lorraine Edna Hooper; and her brothers, Richard and David Hooper. She is survived by: her children, Greg Dobies (Stephanie) of Leesburg, VA, Jeff Dobies (Ann) of Stephenson, VA and Kim Dobies of Reston, VA.; her grandchildren, Jessica (Patrick), Jeffrey (Maggie), Samantha, Nick, Kyle, Erica, Abbey, Nicole, Sarah and Tyler; her great grandchild Sol; and her sister Barbara Durkin.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Beverly's honor.
