He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Angela Ritterpusch; his parents, Reverend Howard Ritterpusch and Helen Ritterpusch; and his sister Janice Richter. He is survived by: his son Lieutenant Colonel Kurt D. Ritterpusch; his grandchildren, Katharine Ritterpusch, Henry Ritterpusch, Max Ritterpusch and Wilson Ritterpusch; his nephew Keir Richter; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aidan and Aubrey; Kimberly.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Arlington National Cemetery.
