Payne of Leesburg, Virginia, born in Fairfax, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Payne and Viola Payne (Miller); his stepson Donald H. Furr; and his siblings, William Payne, Thomas Payne, Aileen Woodson, Bearnice Ellis, Robert Payne Jr. and Walter Payne.

He is survived by: his wife Anna Payne (Hardy); his daughter Carolyn Curren (Wayne); his stepsons, Ronald C. Furr (Linda) and Thomas R. Furr (Crystal); his daughter-in-law Jane Furr; his grandchildren, Ronda, Tina, Kim, Kristie and Melissa; and his brothers, Larry Payne, Roger Payne and Gene Payne. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
