She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Ploth and Ethel Baldwin Ploth (Bob); and her grandson Zachary. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Nixon; her sons, Fred (Susy) of Mill Spring, NC, Rob (Kris) of Arvada, CO and Randy (Karen) of Ashburn, VA; her brother Dave (Sharon) of Charleston, SC; and her grandchildren, Jeremy, Farrah, Andrew, Ryan and Megan.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenleaf Memorial Park (900 River Rd, New Bern, NC 28562).
