In the vast expanse of eternity, Ellen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ellen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; and her parents, James McCarthy and Elizabeth McCarthy (Lombard). She is survived by: her partner Tara. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, and countless friends.
During the pandemic, her daily dose of memes, animal pictures, and puns became a bright spot for so many.
