He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert German and Margaret German; and his brother Bud. He is survived by: his wife Jill; his brother Dale (Pat); his children, Erin (Brian), Peter (Missy) and Benjamin (Leah); and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Maddie, Jon, Seth, Caleb, Nate and Kenniston. He is also survived by his six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Johns Hopkins University Hospital.
