She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Powell and Olive Powell; her brother David Powell; and her daughter Anne Louise Porter. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Powell "Sally" Wright (Garry) and Mary Porter Green (Russell); her grandchildren, Kati, Mandy, Matthew and Charlie; her stepgrandchildren, Jordan and Jackson; her grandson-in-law Vikaas; and her great grandchild Leo.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 5:30 PM at the Leesburg United Methodist Church (107 W Market St, Leesburg, VA 20176). A burial will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the West Alexander Cemetery (70 N Liberty Rd, West Alexander, PA 15376).
