He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C Owens and Mary Aline Owens; and his brother Edward Owens. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn C. Owens; his children, Catherine Bischof (Tom) of Yorktown, VA, James Owens of Leesburg, VA, Fred Owens of Wilmington, NC and Sue Dowling (Brian) of Leesburg, VA; his grandchildren, Tori Gelbert (Wade), Kellie Lovely (Keith), Ty Owens (Elizabeth) and Danielle Dowling; his great grandchildren, Audrey Gelbert and Aidan Gelbert; and his siblings, Beatrice Muraski, Raymond Owens and John Owens. He is also survived by niece and many nephews.
