He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. McDonnell and Virginia Marie Kirchner; and his brother William McDonnell. He is survived by: his wife Judith McDonnell; his siblings, Joseph (Maryann), Marianne Nestor (Robert) and Peachie Fraust (Gary); his children, Patrick McDonnell and Jeanne Zarate (Alfredo); the mother of his children Elizabeth Skinner; his stepdaughter Mary Robertson (Reid); his grandsons, AJ, Patrick and Paul Zarate; and his stepgrandchildren, William, Armstrong, Blake and Brooks.
