He is survived by: his brother John; his grandchild Takwan "Tae" Crews-Naylor; his wife Lora E. Crews; his children, Bonetta Crews (Wendell McBride) and Howard L. Crews II (Eve Crews); his grandchildren, Gerrell Roddey, Shanice Roddey, Marcus Crews-Naylor and Takwan Crews-Naylor; his great grandchild Cameran Roddey; his siblings, Joseph "Joe" Crews Jr., Frances Young, Rickey Young and Maenell Barnett (Steve Barnett); his goddaughter Tanya Morris; and his grandsons, Bryan Morris, Deandre Morris and Deandre Morris Jr.. He is also survived by children and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, military brothers and sisters, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Mt Olive Baptist Church (216 Loudoun St SW, Leesburg, VA 20175-2719). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
