She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Jo Bruguiere (Curtis) of Roseland, VA, Lara Amelia Dunlap (James) of Aldie, VA, Cary Tucker Birkitt (Judi) of Leesburg, VA and John Gustin Birkitt (Marny) of Brunswick, MD; and her daughter-in-law Diane Mallett Birkitt of Bristol, TN. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
