The memory of Joseph Michael Ruddy of Leesburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 22, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Ruddy and Emmeline Ruddy; and his siblings, Patrick, Michael, Mary Lou, Joan and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Nelson and Erin Baldwin; his sons-in-law, Jake Nelson and Luke Baldwin; and his grandchildren, Sophie, Bradley, Connor and Lillian. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and 17 grand nieces/nephews, along with many other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John the Apostle Catholic Church (231 N King St, Leesburg, VA 20176). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint John Apostle Catholic Church (101 Oakcrest Manor Dr NE, Leesburg, VA 20176).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the Father Peyton Center, Holy Cross Family Ministry.
