With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Van Sommers of Leesburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 1, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Kenneth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Kenneth farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dena Fox Sommers; his daughter Tylar Sommers Joppich (David) of Fairfax; his grandchildren, Juliana and Jameson Sherfey; and his parents, Art Sommers and Jan Sommers of Williamsburg.
