She was predeceased by: her father Sylvester J. "Sandy" Linton of Smithers; and her brother-in-law Michael J. Boyd (Jen) of Alexandria, Virginia.. She is survived by: her husband Loyd M. Boyd of Leesburg, VA; her mother Sandra Richmond Linton of Smithers, WV; her siblings, Anne Passerini of Stephens City, VA and Richard Linton of Pratt, WV.; and her sister-in-law Dena E. Pollak (Dan) of Leesburg, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the O'Dell Funeral Home (1301 Fayette Pike W, Montgomery, WV 25136). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 904 Birch St NE, Leesburg, VA 20176. During the COVID pandemic, she spent an extended time in West Virginia to help care for her ailing father—a time she cherished deeply.
