He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Benjamin and Martha Allen Brown; his son Louis E. Brown, Jr.; and his siblings, Martha, Mary, Thomas, Rose and James.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Ann Cook Brown; his children, Kenneth Lee Brown (Alexandra), Toni Brown-Berry (Laurie) and Wannetta Langley (Steve); his sisters, Nancy, Lucille, Sue, Catherine and Libby; and his grandchildren, Eric Tyrone Brown, Laura Vasquez-Bolanos, Sara Lucia Brown and Kendra Lee Brown.
