She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Strobel and Ferd Strobel; her husband Captain William N. Homer; her close friend Bill Huppert; her husband Colonel John Flanagan; and her siblings, Robert Strobel and Dorothy Strobel Michener.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Homer Fontanella of Connecticut, Gregory Homer of Georgia, William Homer, Jr. of North Carolina, Mary Homer of Virginia, Christina Homer Daggett of North Carolina and Theresa Homer Burley; and her brother Kenneth Strobel. She is also survived by grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
