It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Aaron Bradley (Leesburg, Virginia), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on June 29, 2019, at the age of 37, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Walter Bradley and Mary Bohnaker (James); his sister Amy Barrett (Daniel); his nieces, Noelle Rae Barrett and Evalee James Barrett; and his pet Rusty.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Matt's honor to The Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation (http://www.lostdogrescue.org).

“Dear Mary, Buddy Amy and Jim, I am stunned and so very sad to read this about Matt. I last saw him a few years ago in Smithfield. I will never forget us all piling into the car and heading for Cameron, Hillsville and other treasure hunting destinations. Those were the best of times, and I know your hearts are broken. Matt was such a gentle soul, and until you see him again. I hope that memories of the joyful times you shared with him will be a comforting blessing. Much love, Missy”
