We announce the death of Nancy Gageby Trittipoe (Leesburg, Virginia), who passed away on August 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Nancy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Nancy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Nancy will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture her life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Nancy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles William and Eva Virginia Engle Gageby; her husband Edward Allen Trittipoe; and her siblings, Gordon, Dale Gageby and Donna Kidwiler.
She is survived by: her sister Patricia Henkes (Claison); and her sisters-in-law, Ann Freysz and Patricia Gageby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Moose Lodge #948 (77 16th St, Ranson, WV 25438). Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Loudoun Funeral Chapel (158 Catoctin Cir SE, Leesburg, VA 20175).
