With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rebecca Lynn Smith of Leesburg, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 16, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Eggen and Dorothy Eggen (Kuhn). She is survived by: her husband Smith of Sterling, VA; her son Derek Smith (Meghan); her grandsons, Maximus and Rockford of Attleboro, MA; and her sisters, Jennifer Reiva of Papillion, NE, Libby Saleh (Mike) of San Diego, CA and Priscilla Bayyouk (Jacob) of Richardson, TX. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
