It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melissa Wines (Linden, Virginia), born in Front Royal, Virginia, who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Chuck Wines (Theresa Biggs) and Laurel Wines (Pete Hawthorne) of Groton, Connecticut.; her grandmother Janet; her daughter Jazlyn Wines; her siblings, Chaz Wines (Rachel) of Front Royal and Jennifer Wines of Connecticut; and her nieces and nephews, Damien Wines, Onyx Helme, Leah Wines, Athena Barnhill and Leila Helme. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family is asking for contributions to be made in Melissa's name to Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church located at 18 W. 6th St. P.O. Box 1109, Front Royal, VA, 22630.
