With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rachel Ann Simmons of Linden, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rachel left this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry LeRoy Simmons and Julia Belva Saville Simmons; her husband Keith Hileman Simmons, Sr.; her son Keith Hileman Simmons, Jr.; and her brothers, Otho LeRoy "Buck" Simmons, Edward G. "Jack" Simmons and James Morgan "Jimmy" Simmons.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Louise Fultz of Bacova, Virginia, Sue Simmons of Bridgewater, Virginia, Faye Simmons of Atlanta, Georgia and Virginia Simmons of Arlington; and also Dwight Simmons (Carol) of Kirkland, Washington.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (1521 S Carpenter Dr, Covington, VA 24426).
