With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ashby G. Timmons (Locust Grove, Virginia), born in Orange, Virginia, who passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Barbara S. Timmons. He is survived by : his son Stacey L. Timmons (Cathy Y. Timmons); his grandchild Shawn G. Timmons; his siblings, Robert Smith and Barbara Williams; and his stepgranddaughters, Sarah Alexander and Mary Reuss. He is also survived by 6 step great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory (31440 Constitution Hwy, Locust Grove, VA 22508). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rhoadesville Baptist Church Cemetery (26042 Lafayette Dr, Rhoadesville, VA 22542).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dogwood Village Foundation 120 Dogwood Lane.
