Though Dorothy may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Jchell Speziale; and her sister Alice Morris. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gardner; her children, Connie Opperude (Bob), Denise Simpson, Kimberly Elias, John Markham and Jackie Koontz (Billy); and her brothers, Jerry and Steve Sprankle. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, extended family members, church family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Hope Baptist Church for the benefit of WMU in her memory.
