Holmes of Locust Grove, VA; his siblings, Daniel Holmes, Ollie Holmes (Helen) of Lignum, VA, Harriet Tibbs (Theodore) of Lignum, VA and Sally Holmes of Coatesville, PA.; his granddaughter Evangelist Veronica Brown (Robert Brown) of Culpeper, VA; his great grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Annyssa Brown; his children, Frederick Shuler Jr. (Debora) of Coatesville, PA, Minister Darien Shuler (Deaconess Michelle Shuler) of Philadelphia, PA and Kyhisha Zebley (Jonathan) of Brookhaven, PA.; and his friends, Rev. James Brown and Rev. Charles Wormely. He is also survived by grandchildren, bonus great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
