He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Pierce and Vivian Pierce; and his close friend Billy "Bubba" Brooks. He is survived by: his daughter Raquel Edwards (Andy); his granddaughters, Lacey Paige and Sawyer Edwards; his siblings, Debbie Horsley (Darryl) and Stephen Pierce (Dee); his siblings' children, Jacob, Ben, Becca and Douglas; his caregiver Mitch Johnson; and his pets, Sonny Boy, Bill, Tilly and Cleo. He is also survived by his family, especially his daughter and granddaughters, and for the many close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Faulkner Funeral Homes, Bristow-Faulkner Chapel (15 C F Edwards Lane, Saluda, VA 23149). A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Middlesex Memorial Cemetery.
