Gilbert, Sr.; her children, Kendra Gilbert (Jermaine Martin) of Gladys, Virginia and Kameron Carr (Arliss); her grandchildren, Treyvon Ware, Jeremiah Martin, Jaela Culp, Aaliyah Bowling, Kyla Carr, Kamaria Carr, Michalla Burchette (Johnathan), Malik Kidd and Mahogany Kidd; and her siblings, Harold Poindexter (Tilly) of Long Island, Mary Smith (John) of Long Island, JoAnn Dixon (Louis) of Long Island, Bernice Wells (Shawn) of Madison Heights, Valerie Younger (Alfred) of Rustburg, Jammie Poindexter (Kenya) of Waldorf, Tammy Barksdale (Rex) of Altavista, Sherika Poindexter of Altavista, Virginia and Jessie Mae DeJarnette. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
