It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christopher James Bursenos of Lorton, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on April 18, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Bursenos and James Bursenos; his brothers, Peter James Bursenos (Lynn Bursenos) and George James Bursenos; and his son George Christopher Bursenos.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Bursenos; his children, Joanna (Matthew Harrison) and Demetrios (Shawna Bursenos); his sisters, Maria and Stephanie; his grandchildren, Christopher, Natalie, Mason and Zoie; and his daughter Hope DelToro. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Katherine Greek Orthodox Church (3149 Glen Carlyn Rd, Falls Church, VA 22041). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Fairfax Memorial Park (9900 Braddock Rd, Fairfax, VA 22032).
