With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Johnson Amick Champe of Louisa, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Burke Johnson and Delphia Johnson; her former husband Frank Amick; her husband David M Champe; her son Mark Amick; her great grandchild Chase Luck; and her brothers, Gary and Robert Johnson.
She is survived by: her friend David M Champe; her son Jeff Amick (Kim); her grandchildren, Ryan Amick (Melissa), Jason Amick (Stephanie) and Camdynne Moore (Kyle); her daughter-in-law Wanda Amick; and her children, Taylor Amick (Breanna) and Matt Amick. She is also survived by many nieces, cousins, and friends.
