He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kontsis; his children, James Kontsis of Baltimore, William Kontsis of Culpeper and Velina Gillespie (David) of Louisa; his grandsons, Justin Ferber (Keri), Nicholas Gillespie and Cree Kontsis; and his pet Tykee. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
