She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Lamb and Thelma Lamb; and her siblings, Barbara Thacker, Betty Searls, Caroll Lamb, Cecil Lamb and Shirley Baber.
She is survived by: her children, Walter E. Coppedge, Bonnie G. Thompson (Doug) and Jacqueline Houchens (Gary); her sisters, Beverly Harrison and Frances Lamb; her sister-in-law Phyllis Fragale Lamb (David); her grandchildren, Amanda Alley, Billy Miller, Daniel Houchens and Steven Miller; and her great grandchildren, Vivian and Liam Alley. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodward Funeral Home (200 Fredericksburg Ave, Louisa, VA 23093).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association in memory of Geneva L. Riggs.
