He is survived by: his wife Linda E. Mangum; his parents, Jesse Chandler Mangum Sr. and Adele D. Mangum of Portsmouth, VA; his children, Dawn Mangum Young (Ronnie), Jesse Chandler Mangum III (Jessica), Jason S. Troupe, W. Owen Troupe (Chelsea), Nicholas E. Collins and Justin T. Collins (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Berkley Young, Camden, Natalie Troupe, Destinee, Jo'lee Collins, Corinne Deery, Keirstyn, Kelson, Kameryn, Kristian and Kyler Collins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Woodward Funeral Home (200 Fredericksburg Ave, Louisa, VA 23093).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for the gift of living plants or trees, which will be planted on their property in Louisa as a lasting memorial to Chandler.
