He is survived by: his sons, Tyrone Miller (Kimberly), Daniel Crate (Virginia) and Johnny "Dale" Miller (Mary Lou); his grandchildren, Alexis, Chase, Kimberlyn, Ryan, Mandy and Misty; and his brother Max Miller (Patricia). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
