He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Shumaker; his sons, Stephen Shumaker and James Shumaker; his grandchildren, Kenneth Shumaker, Caitlyn Nash, Carly Freeman, Freddie Ventura and Jennifer Ventura; and his pet Buddy.
