She is survived by: her husband Simpson; her son Dr. Thomas Adie Akers II (Kathy); her grandchildren, Nate and Kristen Akers; her daughter Donna Akers Casanave (Paul); her grandchildren, Angela (Zac Stilwell), Karly (Jonny Phillips) and Paul "PJ" Casanave; her great grandchildren, Finnley Thomas and Regan Adie Stilwell; and her sisters, Jane Mather Armbrust and Janis Mather Gordon.
