She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucila Marie McDonald and William Carpenter; her husband Joseph Marvin Bender; her siblings, Jerrie Grant, Kenny, Billy and Robert Carpenter; and her foster parents, Eva Lamero and Crawford Lamero.
She is survived by: her children, Mike, Gwen and Tracy.
