He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel O. Mawyer and Susie Hughes Mawyer; and his sister Sandra Scourby. He is survived by: his wife Angie; his daughter Alyssa Carr (Jeremy); his grandson Lucas Carr; and his siblings, Ella Wood (Frank), Carolyn Tinder and Jeff Mawyer (Kenda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
