Though Hezekiah may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hezekiah touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zachariah Brown and Queen Moon Brown; and his wife Mae Brown. He is survived by: his children, Robyn Lee (Timothy) of Lynch Station, Stanley Brown (Shelia) of Altavista and Katina B. Spencer (Anthony) of Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Miller Funeral Home (668 Zion Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A burial was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at the Mt. Airy United Methodist Church Cemetery (4525 Mt Airy Rd, Lynch Station, VA 24571).
