With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Joseph Topa of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Topa and Mary Topa; his grandson Devon James; and his brother Chester Topa. He is survived by: his wife Dot H. Topa; his children, Michael Andrew Topa and Donna Topa Childress (Thomas); his sister Margaret Sambuca; his grandsons, Tyler Michael Childress and Nathan Thomas Childress; and his brother-in-law Bob Hoffman (Lil).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
