She was predeceased by: her husband George Evans McMichael Sr.; her parents, Eunice T. Shaver and Frank Benjamin Shaver Sr.; and her siblings, Frank Benjamin Shaver Jr. and Willa Mae Ashley.

She is survived by: her sons, George (Diane McMichael) and Steve (Vicki McMichael); and her sister Ruby Ann Bennett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by family and friends who marveled at her energy, spirit, charity, humor, and willingness to be of service to others.
