Sandidge Sr.; her sisters-in-law, Elsie Sandidge, Earlene Sandidge and Marion L. Douglas; her spouse Carroll; and her nephews, James "Jay" Soby, Michael "John" Soby and Eric Soby.
She is survived by: her friends, Virginia Mason and Dr. Vivian Hudson; her children, Steven W. Lewis of Rustburg, VA, Carolyn L. Jones of Thomasville, NC and Rhonda L. Lewis of Waldorf, MD.; her grandchildren, Brandon Cabell (Shanice) of Mebane, NC, Maneko Hayes (Patrick) of Greensboro, NC, Dexter Lewis of Rustburg, VA, Corey Lewis of Greensboro, NC and Mia Lewis of Virginia Beach, VA.; her great grandchildren, Micah Lewis, Carson Cabell, Colin Cabell and Phoenix Hayes; and her nieces and nephews, Adrienne Crews (George), Carrington Sandidge Jr. (Charlotte), Sue Gibson Winston, Kelly Sandidge (Erin), Keith Sandidge (Diane) and Denise Sandidge.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Community Funeral Home (909 Fifth St, Lynchburg, VA 24504). Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
