He is survived by: his wife Dottie Farley Davis; his son Ronnie Davis (Debbie) of Lynchburg; his granddaughter Brittany Treat (Cory) of Vinton; his daughter Kimberly Welch (Eugene) of Monroe; his grandson Brandon Welch (Kristin) of Madison Heights; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Emily; his granddaughter Tiffany Welch (Ian Davenport) of Richmond; his daughter Laurie Chiodo (Craig) of Forest; his grandchildren, Megan Tait (Alex) of Chesapeake, Monica of Lynchburg, Addison of Lynchburg and Justin of Lynchburg; and his siblings, Ethel Andrews (Wes) of Colonial Heights, Effie Farmer of Richmond and Robert Davis (Delores) of Lynchburg. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests those wishing to make a memorial consider Elon Baptist Church.
