She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Thomas Sr. and Gwendolyn Tisdale. She is survived by: her son Thaddeus "T. J." Read (Phyllis); her grandchild Emory; her son David Read (Dawn); her grandchild Amiah; and her siblings, Addison Thomas Jr. (Ophelia), Thelma Harris and James Thomas (Catherine). She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
