She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Lee Craddock and Elizabeth Cocke Craddock; her husband Fred Crews McDowell; and her son Hughla James McDowell. She is survived by: her son Russell Crews McDowell; her granddaughters, Bryn Woods and Abby McDowell; and her siblings, Russell W. Craddock (Gwen) and Merle C. Mead. She is also survived by her family, friends.
