We are sad to announce that, on March 29, 2023, at the age of 92, Audrey Dowdy Dolan (Lynchburg, Virginia), born in Long Island, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin Wood Dolan; her parents, Henry Dowdy and Nolie Elliott Dowdy; and her siblings, Maddy Thompson, Bertha Tomlin, Ella Tomlin and Henry Dowdy, Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Jim Dolan (Melaine) of Nathalie, Tom Dolan (Karen) of Williamsburg and Dave Dolan (Kristi) of Lynchburg; and her sister Minnie Eagle of Lynchburg. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
