It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Lomax Cannon of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Davidson (Julia Kent) and NJ. She is survived by: her son Aubrey Kent Lomax; her daughter-in-law Kathy Lomax; her grandchildren, Tamara, Melissa, Maxine, Kim, Darryl Sr. and Jeffrey; her great grandchildren, Adonis, Darryl Jr., Jeffrey, Sydney and Zoey; her cousins, Joan, Tracey, Karen and Leslie; and her granddaughter Nakiah.
She held a position as an assistant on the psychiatric ward in Muhlenberg hospital for a few years, but her most prized work came through her contributions to educating youth.
