It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Wright Hamilton of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on September 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnson Orville Wright and Mabel Callahan Wright; her husband Jesse Willard Hamilton; her son J. Dale Hamilton; and her sister Shirley W. Lewis.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda H. Pollard (Danny); her granddaughters, Heather Renee Schaub (Cory) and Hanna Pollard-Sims (Waylon); and her great grandchild Eden James Sims.
