She was predeceased by: her brother Frederick Bowen. She is survived by: her parents, Carl Bowen and Beulah Bowen; her husband Vito DeMonte; her children, JoAnne Coco, Michele DeMonte and Toni Rivera; her grandchildren, Sara Doyle, Keith Tyree, Beverly Marie DeMonte, Alex DeMonte, Marco Coco, Maria Stephens and Aron Rivera; her great grandchildren, Devin, Schuyler Hamlett, Kaleb Mann, Bentley, Carter Tyree and Ryan Donald; and her nieces, Lisa Garofolo and Karen Thomas. She is also survived by family members and loving friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pate Chapel at Thomas Road Baptist Church (1 Mountain View Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24514). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
