He is survived by: his wife Betty Robinson Phelps; his children, Tony Phelps (Tutka) of Virginia Beach, Todd Phelps of Lynchburg and Lisa Jennings (Clinton) of Forest; his grandchildren, Tate Phelps (Hannah), Shane Phelps (Candy), Meghan Bauscher (Daniel), Taylor Phelps (Sara) and Heidi Phelps; and his great grandchildren, Aubrey Bauscher, Claire Bauscher, Jackson Phelps, Hunter Phelps, Amerisa Phelps, Arthas Phelps and Lyric Phelps. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
