We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2025, at the age of 77, Bonnie (Brenda) Hawks Johnson of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bonnie may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bonnie touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathan Watson Hawks and Edna Moore Hawks; and her siblings, Kim Hawks and Connie Hill. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Alfred Johnson; her aunt Lynda; and her uncle David Hawks.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
